BAREFOOT SHOES FOR HIKING CAN BE FUN FOR ANYONE

New to barefoot shoes. We are now living in Montana exactly where it could get to -20 or decreased. Any strategies on boots? Am I correct in pondering you'd have to have the thick boot to protect from the extreme chilly? Look for boots with a wide toe box it's possible?
